Loft conversions

Here's what approximately happens next!

WEEK 1-2

• Scaffolding goes up

• Material delivery & work starts.

• The structural shell of the project is installed, which includes the new floor structure & roof extensions.

• The staircase is ordered.

WEEK 2-3

• New staircase fitting.

• Meetings with the plumbing & and electrical teams are arrange with you

• 1st fix plumbing and electrics is carried out to your specification.

WEEK 3 to 4

• All windows are supplied & installed around this time

• Insulation & plastering is normally carried at this time

WEEK 5-6

• Roofing work is being carried and usually completed.

• Decoration of the loft and tiling in the shower room can be organised & started now.

WEEK 4 to 5

• Second fix plumbing, electrics and carpentry are carried out.

WEEK 6 to 8

• Final touches and completion of the work around weeks 6-8 and sometimes 9-10, depending on the size of the conversion.

• Final sign off with building control.

• Completion certificate issued along with 10 year guarantee
